About Us

We started as an idea in November 2024 after we couldn't find what our family were looking for - truly healthful local food, delivered to our door.
If you've found us it's likely you are looking for the same. Sadly it's becoming increasingly hard not to be painfully aware of the realities of most food production in our modern day world. With the influx of UPFs, seed oils, hidden pesticides & reduced nutrition it's no wonder our nation's health is declining. Here at Shropshire Organics we believe that with properly good food at the dinner table you really can change the health and wellness of every household, we'd love for you to join us!

Community is so important to us on this journey which is why you'll find other small and/or local businesses and producers featured on our website, many of which do not have the ability to offer home delivery themselves.

In line with our ethos we only buy from co-operative wholesalers for other goods such as non-UK fruits and household items. The only organic produce wholesaler we buy from pay growers an impressive 90% of sale price. We find happy growers = excellent quality. We run much the same way with how we pay our own local suppliers, paying fairly and often more than they have received from other retailers. We commit to an amount each week and always pay, even if product doesn't sell, helping families like ours have a stable income. 

So here we are, championing good food, done right, uniting likeminded folk, and ultimately working together to keep families thriving!

At Shropshire Organics we specialise in organic produce - buying in from quality certified organic growers and producers across the UK and further afield. As Better Food Trader members we are very careful where we source from and ensure everything is grown or produced in line with our ethos and as locally as possible. Where we support like minded but non organic certified local growers/businesses and bring their items onto our website you will see they are listed alongside a different name, for example the micro greens are 'By Shropshire Microfarm', all relevant information on certification status and/or growing methods are included on each item description.
